Marshal Gilles Di Ra was accused of killing up to 200 babies and organized a public repentance for the sins committed. After that, he was strangled and burned along with several of his assistants.

Another Italian violinist himself admitted that he made a deal with the devil. This is Giuseppe Tartini, who is one of the luminaries of the Italian violin school of the 18th century.
