Differences between the signs "Movement prohibited" and "Entry prohibited"
It is no secret that some road signs have a similar meaning, only minimally differing from each other. But this does not mean that drivers can violate the ban, justifying their decision with minor differences. What is the difference between a “Movement prohibited” sign and a “No entry” sign? At first glance, there is no difference. But it is not so. If the driver does not agree with the fine
The current legislation does not restrict citizens in the right to protect their interests. This applies equally to both criminal and administrative offences. The sign "Movement is prohibited" refers to a category in the traffic rules. This sign is the second most important prohibition sign and is numbered 3.2 after all (No Entry). It is a round disk with a white field, bordered around the circumference by a red stripe. The sign is intended to indicate territories and places where entry is prohibited for all types of transport.
Moreover, unlike the “brick”, it prohibits movement in the given territory in both directions. Therefore, it is not installed at intersections before crossing a street with one direction of movement. No traffic sign for trucks
The sign at number 3.4, which is a white disc with a red border and a black silhouette of a truck, has the name in the SDA “Trucks are prohibited”. In fact, it repeats all the requirements of the "Movement is prohibited" sign. The difference between this sign and sign 3.2 is that it allows movement for mopeds, bicycles, horse-drawn vehicles.
Exception to the rule
- public transport, the route of which passes through the territory where the ban has been introduced;
- cars driven by people with disabilities, having disabilities of 1-2 groups, or carrying them. In this case, the car must be equipped with an identification mark "Disabled";
- official vehicles serving organizations and firms located in the restricted area;
- personal cars, the owners of which live within the territory where the movement of cars is prohibited;
- special vehicles of postal organizations, which must have a blue color scheme corresponding to this service with a white diagonal stripe.
Penalty for driving under the sign "Movement is prohibited"
Despite the high importance in ensuring traffic safety on the roads, in terms of the degree of responsibility for violation of requirements, the sign occupies one of the last places. For non-compliance with the requirements of the sign of Art. 12.16 Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for a minimum administrative fine in the amount of 500 rubles. Penalty for driving under the sign
According to the Code of Administrative Offenses, movement in the field of action of the sign entails a fine of five hundred rubles or a warning.

What vehicles are allowed to enter:
- Shuttle transport, if the restricted area is on the established route.

Sign 3.1 is more strict and assumes the presence of a real danger inside its zone, in particular, it is installed before entering road sections with oncoming one-way traffic. Only passenger transport, the route of which runs through this territory, is allowed to enter the territory of its operation.
What sanctions are expected for violation
Violation of traffic requirements, even if it did not entail any consequences, is a serious administrative offense. Responsibility for such violations in the Russian Federation is provided for in the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO) No. 195-FZ dated December 30, 2001 (as amended on August 3, 2020). Article 12.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses establishes that a warning or a fine is due for such an offense.
