In the Russian calendar of holidays, the Day of the Legal Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs appeared in 2003 - from the moment Boris Gryzlov (then Minister of Internal Affairs) issued a corresponding decree. The date for the celebration of this day was chosen with an emphasis on the event of 1946, when on July 19 the legal department joined the Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, whose main duties include giving opinions on all documentation submitted for signature to the Minister of Internal Affairs, as well as his deputies, and advising agency for any legal issues that may arise.

With the founding of the legal part, only nine employees worked in it. Around the same time, the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs began to acquire new legal advisers and separate legal departments. In 1985, the VD authorities issued general rules for a systematized juruchet. To date, all the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs traditionally congratulate their lawyers on their annual professional holiday on July 19. This event is often timed to coincide with solemn ceremonies of awarding especially distinguished employees of the legal service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with state awards, diplomas, thanks and, of course, extraordinary titles.

Sysoev day

Today at folk calendar the memory of the Monk Sisoy (Sisoy) the Great, who was a hermit monk, is celebrated. His place of residence was a small cave in the Egyptian desert, where the saint spent most of his time in prayer. For sixty years of seclusion, Sysoi reached the highest spirituality, for which he received the gift of healing from God as a reward. According to legend, this gift was so powerful that once the miracle worker even managed to resurrect a young man who died from a serious illness. Anticipating his own death, the Monk Sysoi said that angels and holy apostles were following him, and on his deathbed he told his disciples that he had seen the face of the Almighty sitting on the heavenly throne.

In Russia, by this period, as a rule, all sowing work was completed, if they were still ongoing. It was believed that the morning "sysoeva" dew had high healing properties, so the peasants, after waking up, immediately went into the yard and sprinkled their faces with this life-giving moisture in order to gain strength and health. In addition, cattle were “lubricated” with such dew for its better performance. On this day, the housewives harvested blackcurrants, and in the evening they cooked delicious berry jam and baked chicken in currant sauce.

The Marina family lived in the 3rd century in one of the Persian cities. As people of faith and piety, they went to bow to the main Christian shrines Rome.

Their pilgrimage coincided with a period of severe persecution of the followers of Christ's teachings. Marin with his wife and sons stayed in Rome to alleviate the suffering of their brothers in faith imprisoned in prison.

They saved many from imprisonment and death, and many were simply buried with honors, which was also extremely difficult to do.

When the authorities found out about them, they were immediately arrested and subjected to severe torture. During the public execution they were beaten, then they cut off Martha's limbs and hung them around her husband's neck, leading the martyrs all over the city in this way.

The Lord blesses the poor, the hungry, the weeping, the reviled, under the condition that all this is for the sake of the Son of Man; it means that life, surrounded by all sorts of needs and deprivations, is gratified. Joy, contentment, honor, according to this word, do not represent good; yes it is. But as long as a person rests in them, he does not realize it. Only when he is freed from their charm does he see that they are not representatives of the good, but only its ghosts.

The soul cannot do without consolations, but they are not in the sensible; cannot do without treasures, but they are not in gold and silver, not in magnificent houses and clothes, not in this external fullness; can not do without honor, but it is not in the servile bows of people. There are other joys, other contentment, other honors - spiritual ones, kindred to the soul. Whoever finds them will not want external ones; Yes, not only will not want, but will despise and hate them for the sake of the fact that they block the spiritual, do not allow them to be seen, keep the soul in darkness, intoxication, in ghosts. That is why such people whole-heartedly prefer poverty, sadness and obscurity, feeling good among them, as if in some kind of safe fence from the charm of the charms of the world. What about those to whom all this goes by itself? To be in relation to all that, according to the word of the Holy Apostle, as having nothing.

parable of the day

There was once a king who often thought about eternity, but could not understand it. Once he was informed that a certain shepherd boy can give surprisingly reasonable answers to all tricky questions.
The king called the boy and asked:
- Tell me, my child, how long does one moment last in eternity?
The boy thought and answered:
- In one country, sir, there is a mountain of pure adamant, seven miles wide, seven miles long and seven miles high. A small bird flies to this mountain once every hundred years and sharpens its tiny beak on it. When the bird exudes this whole mountain with its beak, then one moment will pass in eternity.
